Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 67, of the Code of Public General Laws,
to be known as section 5.

Which was read and adopted.

Mr. Getty, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Trustees
of the Johns Hopkins University, a coiporation in-
corporated under the General Laws of Maryland, to
make and constitute the President, for the time being,
of its University, and each of his successors in said.
office during their respective teims thereof, a member
ex-officio ol the Board of Trustees of the Johns Hop-
kins Univei sity, in addition to the number of twelve
Trustees of said University now authorized by law.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-
enact section 208, of Article 1, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Allegany County,' sub-title "Mine
Inspection."

Which were read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Evans, from the Committee on Printing, sub-
mitted the following

REPORT:

To the Senate :

The Committee on Printing respectfully report that
they have selected Newton A. Ramsburg to index the
laws and joint resolutions passed at the session of
the General Assembly of 1893. And your Committee
further report that said work is to be done under the
supervision and subject to the approval of the Chair-
man of said Committee; that the amount of compensa-
tion for said work shall be such as the said Chairman
shall deem proper, not to exceed the sum of three
hundred and fifty dollars.
