the further publication of said items in the Annual
Report of the Comptroller of the Treasury be discon-
tinued ; therefore,

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and
he is hereby authorized and empowered to strike from
the books of the Department each and every item
named in the preamble of this Resolution, and that
the further publication of said items in the Comp-
troller's Annual Report shall cease.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Brown, from the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings, reported favorably, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, Article 45, title
"Husband and Wife," by adding an additional sec
tion thereto to be known as "Section 19,'' under the
sub-title of an Act to quiet the title to property
passing from husband to wife.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 196, of
Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, sub-
title "Guardians and Infants," not residing in this
State, and re-enact the same with amendments.

Which were read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Article 32, of
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Dentistry,"
and to re-enact with amendments.

With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Insert after the words "mass meeting," in tenth line
of section 2, the following: ' 'The number of names to be
presented to the Governor by said mass meeting to
be not less than double the number at any time to be
appointed under the provisions of this Article."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
