officer, I am now ready to receive any motion towards
completing the organization of the Senate.

On motion by Mr. Posey, it was
Ordered, That the address of the President^ be
•entered on the Journal.

Mr. Getty submitted the following:

present Session shall be as follows:

Journal Clerk—Frank Shipley, of Howard.

Reading Clerk—John J. Fenton, of Baltimore city.

Sergeant at-Arms—Medford M. Raisin, of Kent.

Door-Keeper—George F. Mering, of Carroll.

Assistant Door-Keepers—Wm F. Sturgis, of Wor-
cester; Lewis F. Dobiner, 2d Legislative District of
Baltimore city.

Chief Engrossing Clerk—John B. Keplinger, 1st
Legislative District of Baltimore city.

Postmaster—Oden Bowie Knight, of Balto, county.

Keeper of Cloak Room—Robert E. McIllheney, of
Calvert.

Janitor—Wm. P. Baldwin, of Anne Arundel.
