Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional
section to Article'66, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title "Mortgages, " to be numbered
section 24, providing that the title to all promissory
notes or other instruments or debts by mortgages or
deeds in the nature of a mortgage, shall from and
after the maturity of such notes or other negotiable
instruments to be conclusively presumed to be vested
in the person or persons, or body corporate holding
the record title to such mortgage or deed in the nature
of a mortgage, and providing that if such mortgage or
deed in the nature of a mortgage be duly released of
record, such overdue promissory notes, or other in-
struments or debts shall be conclusively presumed
to be paid.

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 4, Public Local Laws, title "City of
Baltimore, " sub-title "Licenses, " authorizing the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to license and
regulate telephone, telegraph and electric light poles
in the streets, lanes and alleys of said city.
