compensation for sureties upon their bonds.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add additional section
to Article 16 of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Chancery, " to provide for the payment of com-
pensation to the sureties on the bonds of trustees,
receivers, guardians, committees and other fidu-
ciaries.

Senate bill entitled an Act sanctioning the
acquisition, holding and disposing of certain rever-
sions or ground rents by the Boundary Avenue Pres-
byterian Church of the city of Baltimore.

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

By Mr. Hayes, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 47, of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled "'Insolvents, " to be numbered sec-
tion 34.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add two sections to
Article 23, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Corporations, " to be numbered 37 A and 37 B, pro-
viding for the creation of certain kinds of corpora-
tions.

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Committee of Judicial Proceedings.

Senate bill entitled an Act to pay John Waters for
work done on Tobacco Warehouses Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Maryland Trust Company, title "Insurance and
Trust Company. "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit the use of
explosives in the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and
Tributaries, as a means of taking or catching fish.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Chesapeake Bay and Tributaries.
