Ordered, That the Finance Committee of the Senate
be and it is hereby authorized to audit and settle the
funeral expenses, as well as any other expenses incurred
by reason of and incident to the death of the late
Senator from Calvert county, and that the Chairman
of the Committee on Claims issue his certificate and
endorsement of approval of the bills for said expenses
by the said Committee on Finance.

Also, favorably,
Ordered by the Senate, That the Public Printer
print and deliver to the State Librarian 1, 000 slips as
corrigenda to the Constitution recently printed by
order of the Senate; and the Public Printer shall be
paid for said corrigenda a sum not exceeding $150.

Mr. Hayes, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably, the following bills:
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 607, of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Justices of
the Peace and Constables, " and to repeal chapter 125,
of the Laws of 1890, and to re-enact with amendment
section 607, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "City of Baltimore, " sub-
title "Justices of the Peace and Constables. "
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to appropriate a sum
of money for the purchase of a site and to erect
thereon a statue to the late Johns Hopkins.
Which were read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.
House bill, entitled an Act to authorize and em-
power the Board of Police Commissioners for the city
of Baltimore to purchase or lease ground in the 21st
and 22nd wards of said city, and to have erected there
on a suitable station-house or station-houses.
