section 4, of chapter 100, of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session,
1878, entitled an Act to continue the corporate exist-
ence oi President, Directors and Company of the
Hagerstown Bank.
Which were read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.
House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Woodberry Manufacturing Company.
House bill entitled an Act supplemental to an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Sisters of Charity
of St. Joseph, in Frederick county.
House bill entitled an Act to amend an Act incor-
porating the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery,
passed February 1st, 1840, chapter 155, as amended
by an Act passed 1870, chapter 149.
House bill entitled an Act to amend Article 23, of
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, entitled
"Corporations, " sub-title "Turnpike, Flank Road
and Passenger Railway Companies, " by adding a new
section thereto, to be known as "Section 236 A. "

ported favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the fourth sec-
tion of the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at January Session, 1890, chapter 608, entitled
an Act to provide for State taxation on the revenue
of certain Foreign Corporations, mentioned in this
Act, accruing from business done in the State of Mary-
land, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
