money tor the support of the Co operative Workers
of Baltimore city.

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay to the Treasurer of the State Board of
Education the amount of sundry bills paid by him for
repairs to the State Normal School building.

House bill entitled an Act to refund to the Officers
of the Fifth Regiment Maryland National Guard the
amount of pay for the State Encampment near Fred-
erick, Maryland, in July 1889.

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 743, of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Police. "

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 650, of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Liquor and
Intoxicating Drinks. "

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Baltimore City Senators.

House bill entitled an Act to amend Article 23, of
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, en-
titled "Corporations, " sub-title "Turnpike, Plank
Road and Passenger Railway Companies, " by adding
a new section thereto, to be known as "Section 236
A. '

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

House bill entitled an Act to report sections A, B,
C, D, E, F, G, H and K. of Article, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County, " sub-title
"Oysters, " as the same appears in chapter 269 of the
Acts of 1890.

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Waters, Dawson and Getty.
