500 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 3,

Mr. Brown, from the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings, reported favorably, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 337, of
Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 27, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Crimes and
Punishments, " sub-title "Counterfeiting and For-
gery, " by adding a new section thereto, to follow sec-
tion 46, and to be designated as "Section 47, " and to
be under the title of "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-
title "Counterfeiting and Forgery. "

Which were read the second time/ and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 233, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "Rape, "
chapter 410 of the Acts of Assembly of 1890, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the second time.

And, unfavorably,

House bill entitled an Act to add a section to Article
87, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Sheriff, "
sub title "Oaths of Officers and Bond, " to come in
after section 4 of said Article, and to be called "Sec-
tion 4 A. "

Which was adopted.

Also, unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 320, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the January Session, 1890, entitled an Act to repeal
section 188, of Article 16, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, entitled ''Chancery, " sub-title "Sales, "
relating to the sale of real estate where the personal
estate is insufficient to pay the debts of the decedent,
and to re-enact the same with amendments so as to
read as follows.

Which was adopted.

Also, unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 79, of
Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Testamentary Law, " sub-title "Administration by
