Senate bill entitled au Act for the assistance of the
Home and Infirmary of Western Maryland in the
City of Cumberland
With the following proposed amendments.
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
In section 1, line 4, strike out the word "twenty, "
and substitute therefor the word "ten"
Add to the end of section 1 the following: "And
said sum shall be payable as follows, viz: five thou-
sand dollars in the year 1892, and five thousand dol-
lars in the year 1893, "
Which were adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was read the second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
House bill entitled an Act to refund oyster license
money to Wm. Flaherty, Wm. Henry and Mary J.
Beecher.
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay Wm. H. Taylor for services rendered
the House of Delegates, as flag-hoister, Robt Bellis,
as assistant postmaster, and Benjamin Sevier, as
keeper of cloak room.
House bill entitled an Act to refund to Alexander
Barnett, administrator of Alexander H. Barnett, late
of Talbot county, deceased, the sum of $44. 29, for
taxes paid in error into the State Treasury.
House bill entitled an Act requiring the Comptroller
to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer for sums with-
held from Garrett county, owing to not having been
able to keep open the county schools seven and one-
half months in each year.
House bill entitled an Act to provide for the
assessment, valuation and taxation of the ten millions
of dollars of the increased capital stock of the Balti-
more and Ohio Railroad Company directed to be
issued by the President and Directors of said Com-
pany in November, 1891.

House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Baltimore Belt Railroad Company.
