At 12. 25 P. M.,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legisla-
tive business.

ORDERS.
On motion by Mr. Pearre, it was

Ordered, That Senators Coffin, Posey, Bennett and
Hubner be excused from attendance at to-day's session
of the Senate.

Mr. Wilkinson, submitted the following:

Ordered, That the Superintendent of the State
House be authorized to purchase as many new chairs
as are necessary for the use of the Senate.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By Mr. Hayes,

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the appoint-
ment of a commission and for the collection and dis-
play of products of the State at the World's Fair of
1893.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

By Mr. Dawson,

Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Wellington
Heather, late Collector of Taxes of Caroline county,
sums of money erroneously paid by him.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

By Mr. Hepbron,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize all officers
who may give bond to the State with corporate security,
to charge the cost thereof among the expenses of their
respective officers.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

By Mr. Austin,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 185, of
Article 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
