Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with,
amendments section 31, of Article 12, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Garrett County, " sub-title
"County Commissioners, " and to add two additional
sections to said Article to be designated 31 A and 31
B, relating to the election and term of service of said
County Commissioners, and the filling of any vacancy
which may occur in the same.

Which were read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Hepbron, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re enact
section 199, of Article 15, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Kent County, " sub-title "Sheriff, " and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate the institu-
tion of suits before Justices of the Peace in Kent
county

Which were read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Dawson, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 51, of
Article 5, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Caroline County, " sub-title "County Commis-
sioners, " and to re-enact the same with amendments,
and to add four new sections thereto, ro be called sec-
tion 51 A, section 51 B, section 51 C. section 51 D.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Lloyd, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Talbot county to direct the Sheriff
of said county to employ all male persons, physically
able to perform manual labor who may be incarcerated
in the jail of said county.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 476, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1890, entitled an Act for the better protection of fish,
crabs, oysters and terrapins in the waters of Talbot
county, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
