Mr. Austin, from a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title ''Dorchester County, " to be called section 321,
regulating witnesses.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the trustees therein named to convey a lot of ground
situated in New Market District, in Dorchester county,
to the Board of School Commissioners of said county.

Which were read the second time.

Also, reported,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Cam-
bridge Female Seminary, incorporated by the Act of
the General Assembly of Maryland of 1858, chapter
201, the Cambridge Academy, incorporated by the Act
of 1812, chapter 123, and the Board of County School
Commissioners of Dorchester county, to enter into an
arrangement in reference to Academic School Educa-
tion in the town of Cambridge.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 268,
Acts of 1876, to authorize Geo. L. Michaels to erect
two gates on the public road leading through, the farm
of the said Geo. L. Michaels.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 167 to
195, inclusive, of Article 12, of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Garrett County, " sub-title "Oak-
land, " and to re-enact the same with amendments,
and to add an additional section thereto, to be num-
bered Section 195 A.
