TUESDAY, February 23d, 1892.

Senate met at 8 P. M.

Prayer by Rev. Mr. Steele.

Present ac roll-call, the following Senators:
Messrs. President, Austin, Bennett, Hepbron,
Moss, Pearre—6.

The President announced, as the result of the roll-
call, that there was no quorum present for the trans-
action of any business, and
On motion by Mr. Moss,

The Senate adjourned.

WEDNESDAY, February 24th, 1892.

Senate met at 12 M.

Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Steele.

Present at roll-call the following Senators:

Messrs. President, Austin, Bennett, Brown, Daw-
son, Evans, Getty, Gorter, Hayes, Hepbron, Hubner,
Moss, Newman, Pearre, Posey, Robinson, Rogers,
Seibert, Smith, Toadvin, Waters, Wilkinson, Wirt,
Wootton—24.

Proceedings of yesterday's session read and ap-
proved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS, &c.

Mr. Austin presented the memorial of Noah E.
Gore, Joseph W, Bradshaw and 35 other citizens of
Dorchester county, praying the passage of an Act
placing a bounty on the killing of crows.

Which was read, and referred to Messrs. Austin,
Hepbron and Smith.

Mr. Wilkinson presented the memorial of F. W.
Crawly and 100 other oystermen of St. Mary's county,
praying the Legislature not to shorten the time for
tonging oysters in this State.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Chesapeake Bay and Tributaries.
