House bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct
the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's county
to grant a pension to John L. Jones, of the Second
Election District of said county.

Mr. Hubner, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, sections 3 and 10, of the Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
Session, 1890, chapter 334, entitled an Act to regulate
the sale and the quantity of licenses for the sale of
spirituous and fermented liquors in Baltimore
county.

Which was read the second time, anl ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Gorter, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to entitle the Sheriff to
charge and receive one dollar for every arrest on
warrant and return in criminal cases, and one dollar
and fifty cents for serving and returning every attach-
ment for contempt of court.

With the following proposed amendments:

Strike out all after the words "A Bill, " and insert
in lieu thereof the following:

Entitled an Act to add a new section to Article 4,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Bal-
timore, " under the new sub-title "Sheriff's Fees, " to
follow immediately after section 799, and to be desig-
nated as "Section 799 A. "

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That a new section be and the same is
hereby added to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "City of Baltimore, " under the new sub-
title "Sheriff's Fees, " to follow immediately after
section 799 and be designated as "Section 799 A, " and
to read as follows:
