314 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 18,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize all officers
who may give bond to the State with corporate
security to charge, the cost thereof among the ex-
penses of their respective office.

Which was read and adopted.

And, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 249, of
Article 93. of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Testamentary Law, " sub title "Orphans' Court, "
and to re-enact same with amendments.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Getty, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Writing Telegraph Company of Baltimore city.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Kennard Novelty Company of Baltimore city,
recorded October 3rd, 1890, liber 28, folio 351, of the
charter records of Baltimore city.

Which was read the second time.

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Rogers, from a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 44, of Article 14, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "Howard County, " sub-
title "County Commissioners and Collectors, " and to
add additional sections thereto.

Which was lead the second time.

Mr. Austin, from a Select Committee, reported with
recommendation,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Dorchester county to borrow money
on the credit of the county, for the purpose of bridges.

That it be referred to the Committee on Finance.

Was considered, and

So referred.
