A messenger appeared and delivered a communica-
tion from the Executive.
At 1. 50 P. M.

The Senate went into Executive Session.
. At 2. 05 P. M.

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative
business, and

On motion by Mr. Wirt,
The Senate adjourned.

WEDNESDAY, February 17th, 1892.
Senate met at 12 M.
Prayer by Rev. Mr. Steele.
Present ac roll-call, the following Senators:
Messrs. President, Austin, Brown, Coffin, Evans,
Getty Gorter, Hayes, Hepbron, Moss, Newman,
Pearre, Robinson, Seibert, Smith, Toadvin, Waters,
Wirt, Wootton—19.
Proceedings of yesterday's session read and approved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS, &c.
Mr. Hayes presented the memorial of R. H Guest,
relating to car fares in Baltimore city.

Which was read, and referred to the Baltimore City
Senators.

The President presented the memorial of fifty citi-
zens of Talbot county, against the repeal of local fish
laws of said county.

Which was read, and referred to Messrs. Lloyd,
Brown and Dawson.

Mr. Wirt presented the memorial of Wm. S. Evans
and 39 other citizens of Cecil county, praying relief to
the sureties of Stevenson Archer.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Also,

The memorial of Wm. Fears and 66 other citizens of
Cecil county, protesting against any change in the fish
laws of Cecil county.
