Mr. Gorter, from the Committee on Militia, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 10, of Article 65, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Militia, " sub-title
"Commissions, " and sections 38, 39, 42 and 43, of the
same Article, title "Militia, " sub-title "Maryland
National Guard, " and to add new sections thereto
tinder the designation of sections 45, 46, 47, 48 and 49.

With the following proposed amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In section 52, line 44, after the word "and, " insert
the word "material. "

In section 42, line 45, strike out the following words:
"That is, such regiments, battalions and independent
companies or. "

In section 42, line 46, strike out the following
words: "Through the headquarters thereof. "

In section 42, line 46, after the word "annually, "
insert the words "to the Governor. "

In section 42, line 47, after the word "year, " insert
the word "and. "

In section 43, line 65, after the word "for, " insert
the words "the examination of. "

In section 43, line 67, after the word "for, " insert
the words ''the examination of. "

In section 43, lines 67 and 68, strike out the words
"of the board, consisting. "

In section 47, line 20, after the word "organization, "
insert the word "maintenance. "

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Getty, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Home
for the Aged of Frederick city.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Hayes, from the Committee on Finance, re-
ported favorably,
