Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
its January Session, 1890, entitled an Act to incor-
porate the National Trust and Guarantee Company,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which were read the second time.
Senate bill entitled an Act to enable, the Trustees of
the Methodist Episcopal Church in Chestertown and
the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church at
Bond Chappel to hold respectively one undivided half
part of four acres and one perch of land.
With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out in the preamble to the bill the words
"seventy-two, " and insert the words "two hundred
and forty-seven. "
Which was adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was read the second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 35, of
Article 9, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Attachments. "
With the following proposed amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED
Amend the title by adding to the end thereof the
words following, viz: "Sub-title attachments or origi-
nal process for fraud. "
Amend section 1, in the third line thereof, by insert-
ing after the word "attachments, " the words following,
viz: "Sub-title attachment on original process for
fraud. "
Amend section 1 by inserting in the 11th line
thereof, to follow the words "before, " the words fol-
lowing, viz: "The Clerk of the Court from which said
attachment shall issue or before. "
Amend section 1 by adding after the word "affi-
davits, " in the 12th line thereof, the words following,
to-wit: "As enumerated in section 5 of the Article. "
Which were adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read the second
time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
