Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Baltimore county to make a special
levy of not more than twenty per cent, on each one
hundred dollars of the assessable real estate in the
village of Lutherville, for the purpose of improving
the roads in said village.

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Hubner, Brown and Rogers.

By Mr. Robinson,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
section 58, of Article 13, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Harford County, " sub-title "County
Commissioners " and to add five additional sections
to said Article 13, relating to the number, term, elec-
tion and compensation of County Commissioners for
said county, to follow said section 58, and to be num-
bered 58 A, 58 B, 58 C, 58 D and 58 E.

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Robinson, Seibert and Newman.

By Mr. Wootton,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 249, of
Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Testamentary Law, " sub-title "Orphans' Court, "
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Brown, from the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings, reported favorably, the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 27, of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title
"Embezzlement of Property and Writings, " to pro-
vide for the punishment of embezzlement.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 20 and
23, of Article 77, of the Code of Public Education,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section two, sec-
