Was considered, and

On motion by Mr. Hepbron,
Was re-committed.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
-delivered the following bills: '

House bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 95, of
Article 33, Code of Public General Laws, title "Elec-
tions, " sub-title "Contested Elections, " and re-enact
the same with amendments, an additional section to
said Article, to follow after section 95, to be known as
section 95 A, and to further regulate the trial of con-
tested elections in the courts of this State.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Elections.

Mr. Smith, from the Committee on Elections, re-
ported said bill favorably, and

On motion by Mr. Smith.

The rules were suspended so as give said bill a second
reading this day, by yeas and nays, as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Newman,
Brown, Posey,
Dawson, Robinson,
Evans, Rogers,
Getty, Seibert,
Gorter, Smith?
Hayes, Waters,
Hepbron, Wilkinson,
Hubner, Wirt,
Moss, Wootton—20.
NEGATIVE—None.

Mr. Posey moved that said bill lie over and be made
the Order of the Day for Monday next, February 15th,
at 8. 30 P. M.

Which was determined in the negative by yeas and
nays, as follows:
