Hayes Toadvin,
Hubner, Waters,
Moss, Wilkinson,
Newman, Wirt—19,
Pearre,

NEGATIVE—None.
On motion by Mr. Robinson,

The vote by which said bill was passed was then
reconsidered, and said bill recommitted to the Select
Committee.
At 1. 15 P. M.,

On motion by Mr. Smith,
The Senate adjourned.

MONDAY, February 8th, 1892.

Senate met at 8 P. M.

In the absence of the President the Senate was
called to order by the Secretary.

Prayer by Rev. Mr. Nicols.

After which the Secretary informed the Senate that
the President was absent from the seat of Govern-
ment.

The Senate proceeded to the election of a President
pro tem.

Mr. Gorter nominated Hon. Thos. G. Hayes.

The motion being put by the Secretary, Hon. Thos.
G. Hayes was declared elected President pro tem., and
took the chair.

The President directed the Clerk to call the roll,
when the following Senators answered to their names:

Messrs. Austin, Dawson, Getty, Gorter, Hayes, Hep-
bron, Moss, Newman, Pearre, Posey, Rogers, Seibert,
Talbott, Waters, Wirt—15.

Proceedings of Friday's Session read and approved.
