Said bill was then returned to the House of Dele-
gates.

Senate bill entitled an Act to sanction a lease from
John Eager Howard to the Vestry of St. Stephen's
Church, Baltimore, said lease having been executed
May 9th, 1857.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, and as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Brown, Seibert,
Dawson, Smith,
Getty, Talbott,
Gorter, Toadvin,
Hayes, Waters,
Newman, Wirt—15.

NEGATIVE—None.
Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 56, of
Article 13, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
" Harford County, " sub-title "Collectors, " and to
re enact the same with amendments.

Was considered, and

On motion by Mr. Hayes,

Was re-committed to the Select Committee, and
ordered to be printed.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
returned

Senate Joint Resolutions instructing the Senators
and requesting the Representatives in Congress from
Maryland to take action with a view to securing and
preserving Temple Farm and the Moore House at
Yorktown, Va., by the United States.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays. "
