200 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 4,

to aid the Delaware and1 Chesapeake Railway in the
construction of the Branch Railroad authorized by
chapter 260, of the Acts of 1886, by issuing bonds of
the county to the amount of $60, 000, for the purpose
of raising money to be expended in such construction,
and to levy a tax on the taxable property of said county
for the payment of the interest and principal of said
bonds as authorized by chapter 390, of the Acts of
1890.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading

BILLS AND RESOLUTIONS—THIRD READING.

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the ap-
pointment of Notaries Public in Baltimore county.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:

the General Assembly of Maryland to the acquisition
of the leasehold interest in a lot of ground in Balti-
more city.
