Posey and Wootten be excused from attendance to-
day:

On motion by Mr. Hayes, it was
Ordered by the Senate, that the Public Printer de-
liver to the officer authorized by law to receive the
same, the Reports of Comptroller and Tax Commis-
sioner, which under his contract he is required to print
and deliver to the General Assembly.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By Mr. Hubner, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Baltimore Union Passenger Railway Company,
and authorize it to consolidate with any other Pas-
senger Railway Company.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend sections 1, 2
and 3, of Article 111, of the. Public Local Laws.

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Hubner, Robinson and Brown.

By Mr. Evans,

Senate bill entitled an Act to prevent the adulter-
ation and to regulate the sale of milk.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Sanitary Condition of the State.

By Mr. Hepbron,

Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the Trustees
of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Chestertown,
and the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church
at Bond Chapel, to hold respectively one undivided
half part of four acres and one perch of land.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

By Mr. Gorter,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 111, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments, " sab-title "Frauds by
Mortgagors of Personal Property, '

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.
