THURSDAY, February 4th, 1892.

Senate met at 12 M.

Prayer by Rev. Mr. Andrew.

Present at roll call the following Senators:

Messrs. President, Austin Brown, Dawson, Evans,
Getty, Gorter, Hayes, Hepbron, Hubner, Moss, New-
man, Pearre, Robinson, Rogers, Seibert, Smith, Tal-
bott,. Toadvin, Waters, Wirt—21.

Proceedings of yesterday's session read and ap-
proved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS, &c.

Mr. Waters presented the memorial of citizens of
Somerset county, praying relief of the sureties of
'Stevenson Archer.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Mr. Wirt presented the memorial of citizens of
Cecil county, praying relief of the sureties of Steven-
son Archer.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Mr. Gorter presented the memorial of citizens o.
Baltimore, praying relief of the sureties of Stevenson
Archer.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Mr. Hubner presented the memorial of citizens of
Baltimore county, praying relief of the sureties of
Stevenson Archer.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

ORDERS,

On motion by Mr. Gorter, it was
Ordered, That the Postmaster of the Senate mail
daily the Senate Journal to the Baltimore City Li-
brarian, City Hall, Baltimore, Maryland.

On motion by Mr. Moss, it was
Ordered, That Senators Bennett, Coffin, Wilkinson,
