for their examination, revision and correction, and
that a certificate of the correctness of said rules re-
quired by the said Committee be affixed to said rules.

Be it further ordered, That the Secretary of the Senate
collect and destroy the rules of the Senate printed
by the Public Printer for this session of the Senate,
because by their omissions and defects the said rules
are misleading and not a correct copy of said rules.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

On motion by Mr. Newman, it was

Ordered, That Senators Hepbron, Pearre, Seibert
and Bennett be excused from attendance upon to-day's
session of the Senate.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By Mr. Posey,

Senate bill entitled an Act to pay B. J. Sedwick
and W. H. Warren, wages due them as employees in
Warehouse No. 2, during the year 1890.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

By Mr. Gorter, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Chesapeake Bank and enlarging its corporate
powers and franchises, and changing its name to the
Chesapeake Bank and Trust Company.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 15, of
the Declaration of Rights of the State of Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Amendments to State Constitution.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add a section to Article
66 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Mort-
gages, " to be numbered 24, providing that the title to
all promissory notes secured by mortgage or deeds,
shall, after maturity of said notes, be procured to be
vested in the person holding the record title to such
mortgage or deed.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.
