REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Hayes, from the Committee on Finance, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an, Act to refund to Emanuel
Yeiser, late collector of taxes for 3rd collection dis-
trict of Carroll county, the sum of one hundred and
nine dollars and thirty eight cents, paid into the
treasury of the State in excess of the amount due by
him for the years 1885, 1886, 1887, 1888 and 1889.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

And unfavorably the following:

Ordered, That five days and mileage be allowed to
Wm. H. Ady, Sargeant at-Arms, and to Wm. T. Sud
ler, Door-keeper, for services rendered the Senate at
the present session, and the Chairman of the Commit-
tee on Claims is hereby directed to audit and pay said
claims upon taking the proper voucher, thereof.

Which was adopted.
Also, unfavorably,

Ordered, That the Public Printer be instructed to
print one hundred copies of the rules of the Senate
with all amendments to date, the copy to be revised
by the Committee on Rules of the Senate, and also
that a list of the Senators, with their postoffice ad-
dresses, be printed and bound with the rules.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Brown, from the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 10, of Article 51, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Juries. "

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

And, unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to add section to the
Code of Public General Laws, Article 23, title "Cor-
porations, " sub-title "Municipal Corporations, ' lim-
ing the power of municipal corporations to make con-
tracts for the use of water, gas and electric light.

Which was adopted.
