The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
delivered:

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 122, of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Buildings, " and to-
re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Baltemore City Senators.

At 8: 20 P M.,

On motion by Mr, Robinson,

The Senate went into Executive Session.

At 8. 30 P. M.,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative
business, and

On motion by Mr. Gorter,
The Senate adjourned.

TUESDAY, February 2d, 1892.
Senate met at 12 M.
Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Andrew.
Present at roll-call the following Senators:
Messrs. President, Austin, Brown, Coffin, Dawson,
Evans, Getty, Gorter, Hayes, Hubner, Moss, Newman,
Posey, Robinson, Rogers, Smith, Talbott, Toadvin,
Waters, Wilkinson, Wirt, Wootton—22.
Proceedings of yesterday's session read and approved,

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS, &c.

Mr. Robinson presented the following:
To the Legislature of Maryland:

The undersigned, sureties upon the official bonds of
Stevenson Archer, late Treasurer of Maryland, res-
pectfully pray that relief from the legal liabilities
consequent upon the defalcations of said Archer may
be granted to them.

Your petitioners respectfully represent that in view
of the facts now before the General Assembly of Mary-
land in the report of the committee appointed at the
