INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By Mr. Robinson,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 56, of
Article 13, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Harford County, " sub-title "Collectors, " and co re-
enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Robinson, Seibert and Newman.

By Mr. Hubner,

Senate bill entitled an Act to establish an Asylum
for the Insane of the State of Maryland.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

By Mr. Smith,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 2, of Act of 1890, chapter
202, to appropriate a sum of money to pay for land
that may be required for the extension of the Mary-
land Penitentiary and for the erection of necessary
buildings thereon.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

By Mr. Robinson,

Senate bill entitled an Act to create the office of
State, Road and Bridge Engineer, and define the
duties thereof.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Roads and Highways.

By Mr. Hubner,

Senate bill entitled an Act to compensate Judge N.
Charles Burke, for services performed under Act of
the General Assembly of 1890, chapter 334.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS.

Mr. Waters presented the following:

Senate Joint Resolution concerning the taking of
oysters and fish in the waters of the Potomac and Po-
comoke Rivers.
