the State Tax Commissioner.

With the following proposed amendment:

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Talbott, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 5,, of
Chapter 268, of the Acts of 1890, entitled an Act to
provide for the appointment of Boards of County
School Commissioners for Calvert and St. Mary's coun-
ties, so far as it relates to Calvert county, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Getty, from a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Chapter seven-
ty-three, of the Acts of eighteen hundred and eighty-
two, entitled an Act to add additional sections to the
Code of Public Local Laws, Article, entitled
"Garrett County, " enacted by the Act of eighteen
hundred and seventy-eight, Chapter 108; said sections
to be sub-titled "Thistles, " to come in after sub-sec-
tion seventy-five in said Act, to be numbered "75 A, "
"75 B, " "75 C, " and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Moss, from a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
George T. Melvin to construct a bridge over Weems'
creek, in Anne Arundel county.

Which was read the second time.
