the State.

Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to John C.
Tucker, late Collector of Taxes of Harford county,
$11. 95 erroneously paid by him.

Which were read the second time, and ordered to
"be engrossed for a third reading.

Also favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to pay John Waters
for work done on Tobacco Warehouses No. 1, 2, 3
and 4, with the following proposed amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 1, lines 3 and 4, strike out the words
"eight thousand one hundred and fifty six dollars
and eighty cents'' ($8, 156. 80, ) and insert in lieu thereof
the words "eight thousand one hundred and eighteen
dollars and twenty cents, " ($8, 118. 20. )

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Brown, from the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, reported favorably the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate the procedure
in prosecutions for cruelty to animals.

Senate bill entitled an Act to limit the session of
the Grand Jury in Baltimore county,

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the ap-
pointment of arbitrators to ascertain and fix the true
boundary between the States of Maryland and West
Virginia, and to authorize the Attorney-General to
dismiss the suit now pending in the Supreme Court
of the United States.

Which were severally read the second time, and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Also favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 334, of Article 93, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Testamentary
Law, " sub-title "Wills. "

With the following proposed amendment:
