Also delivered the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

January 22d, 1892.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message, non-concurring im
the message of the House of Delegates, proposing that
when the two Houses adjourn to-day, they stand ad-
journed until Tuesday next, at 8 o'clock, P. M., and
respectfully propose the appointment of a Committee
of Conference on the disagreeing voles of the two
Houses, to be composed of two members on the part
of the Senate, and three members on the part of the
House.

We have named on the part of the House, Messrs.
Laird, Ellegood and Hill.

Which was read.

Mr. Evans submitted the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

January 22th, 1892.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message, proposing a Com-
mittee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of the
Houses, to be composed of two members on the part
of the Senate, and three on the part of the House, and
respectfully non-concur therein, on account of the
unequal division of the committee named in your
message.

Which was read, assented to and sent to the House
of Delegates.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
delivered the following message:
