fining the jurisdiction of Justices of the Peace and the
offences cognizable by said Justices, with the respec-
tive penalties thereto attached.

Public Works to sell the Eastern Hay Scales of Balti-
more and to purchase a more eligible site for the
same.
House bill entitled an Act to provide for the pay-
ment by the State for certain debts contracted by the
Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company during 1887,
1888, 1889 and 1890, for labor and raw materials and
for the assignment of the same to the State.
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor
to appoint delegates to the National Road Congress
of the several States of the Union to be held at Pitts-
burg, Pa., and to appropriate a sum of money to de-
fray expenses of said, delegates.
House bill entitled an Act to regulate the business
of money lending on chattel mortgages and bills of
sale by chattel brokers.
