4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, of the Code of Public General Laws,
sob-title ''Estrays, " and to correct the same with
amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

By Mr. Gorter,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 14, 42
and 57, of Article 23, title "Corporations, " sub title
"Provision for the formation of Corporations and
General Regulations. "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Hayes, from the Committee on Finance, reported
favorably the following Senate Joint Resolutions:

Senate Joint Resolution authorizing the destruction
of the bonds of the Exchange Loan of 1839, acquired
by the exchange of the preferred stock of the Balti-
more and Ohio Railroad Company, as authorized by
Article 12, section 3, of the Constitution.

Senate Joint Resolution authorizing the destruction
of the bonds known as the "Treasury Relief Loan
Bonds, " held by the Treasury for the sinking funds
and the transfer of stocks and bonds from the sinking
fund known as the "Treasury Relief Loan. Sinking
Fund to the Defence Redemption Loan Sinking
Fund. "

Which were read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Waters, from the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and Tributaries, reported favorably the follow-
ing:

Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit the use of
