116 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 22,

On motion by Mr. Moss it was

Ordered, That when the Senate adjourns to-day it
stand adjourned to meet Monday next at 8 P M.

Mr. Hayes presented the following:

Ordered, That the Postmaster of the Senate be
allowed a sufficient number of stamps to enable him
to mail the daily journal to the newspapers of the
State.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
delivered the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

January 22nd, 1892.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We propose, with the concurrence of your Honora-
ble Body, that when the General Assembly adjourns
to day, it stand adjourned till Tuesday night next at
8 o'clock.

By order,

CARLTON SHAFER,

Chief Clerk.
Which was read.

On motion by Mr. Hayes,
The vote by which the order fixing time of adjourn-
ment at 8 P. M. on Monday next,
Was reconsidered.

Mr. Robinson submitted the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

January 22nd, 1892.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message in reference to
adjournment until Tuesday next at 8 P. M., and
respectfully non-concur therein.

By order,

W. G. PURNELL,

Secretary.
Which was read.

Mr. Moss submitted the following amendment:
Add the word "non" before the word "concur. "
Which was adopted.
