Mr. Waters introduced the following bill:
Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the pay-
ment of the contingent expenses of rhe Joint Commis-
sion appointed by the Senate and House of Delegates
of the State of Maryland to meet a similar committee
appointed by the Legislature of Virginia to confer
and report such concurrent legislation concerning the
taking of oysters, crabs and fish in the waters of the
Potomac and Pocomoke, as shall tend to promote
friendly relations between the two States and the
mutual advantage of their respective citizens.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.
