REPORTS OF'STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Getty, from the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to provide for the mode
of acquisition of property by the Baltimore Forward-
ing and Railroad Company, and to authorize said
company to connect its tracks with those of other
railroad companies, and to grant it additional powers
as a railroad company,
With the following proposed amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Strike out all in section 2, and insert as follows:
"Section 2. And be it further enacted, That the said
company is hereby invested with all the powers,
franchises and privileges now allowed to railroad cor-
porations under the General Incorporation Laws of
the State of Maryland, and said company is hereby
authorized to acquire, build and 'construct stations,
yards, docks, wharves and other terminal facilities for
railroad use in either Harford or Baltimore counties
or in Baltimore city, and to locate, build and con-
struct a railroad or railroad therefrom to, and to
connect its tracks with those of any railroad company
now or hereafter having a railroad in either of said
counties or city."
Which were adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was read the second time.
Mr. Brown, from the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings, reported favorably the following bills:
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 19, of
Article 23, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Corporations," sub-title "Provisions for the For-
mations of Corporations."
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the seventh
section of Article 57, of the Code of Public General
Laws, relating to "Limitations of Actions."
Which were read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend section 1 and
3, of an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January Session, 1890, chapter 542, en-
titled an Act to change the name of the Trust, Deposit,
Loan, Security, Guarantee and Insurance Company of
