BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES.

March 30th, 1892.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message notifying this
House of the appointment of a Joint Committee of
Conference on the part of your Honorable Body on
the House bill known as the General Assessment Bill,
and we respectfully concur therein.

We have named on the part of the House, Messrs,
Berret, Carter, Field, Leonard and McSherry.

Which was adopted. Chief Clerk.

Mr. Hayes presented the following :

Ordered, by the Senate, That the Conference Com-
mittee on the part of the Senate, on the assessment
bill, be excused from attendance on this session of the
Senate from 12.30 A. M. to-day until the adjournment
of said Canference Committee.

Which was adopted.

ORDER OF THE DAY.

The hour of 12.30 P. M. having arrived, the Presi-
dent announced the Order of the Day to be the con-
sideration of

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 138, of
Article 23, of the Code of Public General Laws, en-
titled "Corporations," sub-title "Treasury Depart-
ment."

Was considered, and

Said bill passed by yeas and nays, as follows :
