ties of the United States deed and convey to the State
of Maryland the Naval Hospital Building, to An-
napolis.

Which was read the second time.

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Seibert, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Washington county to issue bonds
for building a school house in Cavetown.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 31, of
Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Washington County," sub-title "Birds and Game."

Which were read the second time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add additional sec-
tions to Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Washington County," sub-title "Hagerstown."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reaching.

Mr. Bennett, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and em-
power the Mayor and Common Council of Westmin-
ster to purchase water works for said city.

Which was read the second time.

Mr Rogers, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 31, of
Article 14, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Howard County," sub title "Birds and Game."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Hubner, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to authorize, empower
and request the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county to appropriate a sum of money to pay the
Regi ters of Voters for transcribing, &c., of said
county.
