sion, 1890, chapter 505, entitled an Act to incorporate
the Baltimore, South Baltimore and Curtis Bay Rail-
road Company, so that the corporate title of said cor-
poration shall hereafter be the 'Baltimore and Curtis
Bay Railroad Company,' and to add an additional
section to said Act to be designated as 'Section 15.'

"Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
that the Act passed at the January Session of the
General Assembly, 1890, chapter 505, entitled an Act
to incorporate the Baltimore, South Baltimore and
Curtis Bay Railroad Company, be and the same is
hereby amended so as to change the name of said cor-
poration from the Baltimore, South Baltimore and
Curtis Bay Railroad Company, as it now stands in said
Act, to the 'Baltimore and Curtis Bay Railway Com-
pany,' so that the corporate title, name and style of
the said corporation shall hereafter be the "Balti-
more and Curtis Bay Railway Company.

"Sec. 2. And be it enacted, that the following addi-
tional section be addled to said Act of 1890, chapter
505, to be known as section fifteen, that said Company
be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to ex-
tend its main or any lateral branch or branches of its
railway which it may hereafter build over any avenues
or county roads in Anne Arundel county, in any di-
rection whatever, not exceeding thirty miles in length.

"Sec. 3. And be it enacted that this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read second time, and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Smith, from the Committee on Elections, re-
ported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
new section 166, of Article 33 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "Elections," as
enacted by the Act of 1890, chapter 638.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Waters, from the Committee on Federal Re-
lations, reported favorably,
