House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 3, of
Article 55, of the Code of Public General Laws, and
re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Brown, from the Committee on Judicial Pro-
cedings, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 9, 10
and 12, of Article 13, of the Code of Public General
Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Bills of Ex-
change and Prommissory Notes," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

Which was read the second time.

And, unfavorably, the following bills :

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 653 N,
of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore." sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicat-
ing Drinks."

Senate bill entitled an Act to add five new sections
to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquor and Intoxi-
cating Drinks," to follow section 653 V, and to be
designated as "Sections 653 W, 653 X, 653 Y, 653 Z
and 653 A A."

Senate bill entitled an Act to add to the Code of
Public Local Laws, Article 4, title "City of Balti-
more," sub-title "Courts," to be known as "Section!
1S1 A," and to come in after section 181.

Which were read and adopted.

Mr, Gorter, from the Committee on Militia, re-
ported unfavorably, the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to amend section 27, of
Article 65, of the Code of Public Genral Laws, title
"Militia."

Senate bill entitled an Act to enroll the Brooklyn
Rifles of Brooklyn, Anne Arundel county, into the
Maryland National Guard, to be assigned to regi-
mental commands in the discretion of the Adjutant-
General of the State Forces.

Which were read and adopted.
