AN ACT to repeal sections one and nine of article

seventy-three, Code I, Public General Laws, title

" Penitentiary," as re-enacted by the acts of eigh-

teen hundred and sixty-eight, chapter ninety-seven,
|
|
|
|
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That sections one and nine of article
|
|
|
|
seventy-three of the Code of Public General Laws,
|
|
|
Repealed and
re-enacted
|
title "Penitentiary," as re-enacted by the act of eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-eight, chapter ninety-seven,
|
|
|
|
be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted
|
|
|
|
so as to read as follows :
|

|
|
SEC. 1. The Governor, by and with the advice and

|
