the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled 'Alle-

gany county,' sub-title ' City of Cumberland,' as

also sub-sections one, two, three, four, five, six,

eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen,

fifteen, sixteen and seventeen of chapter one hun-

dred and twenty-one of the Acts of the General

Assembly passed at January session, eighteen hun-

dred and sixty-four, entitled 'An act to repeal sec-

tions twenty-three, thirty-one, thirty-two, thirty-

three, thirty-five, fifty-three and fifty-four of the

first article of the Code of Public Local Laws,' and

re-enact the same with amendments, and insert

additional sections relating to the charter of the

city of Cumberland, and to re-enact the following

instead thereof, and to repeal the Act of the Gen-

eral Assembly passed at its session of eighteen

hundred and seventy-six, chapter one hundred and

thirty-six, entitled 'An act to repeal section forty-

eight of an Act of the General Assembly of Mary-

land, entitled ' An act to amend the charter of the

city of Cumberland,' by repealing sections twenty-

two, &c., passed at the January session of the Gen-

eral Assembly of Maryland, eighteen hundred and

seventy-four, chapter one hundred, also to repeal

section fifty-two of article one of the Code of

Public Local Laws of Maryland, title ' Allegany

county,' sub-title ' Cumberland,' " and to re-enact

the same with amendments.
