or the acceptance of any such deed, shall be and be
deemed a covenant by the trustees of the Presby-
terian Church in Hagerstown with the heirs of the
said Hugh Kennedy or John Kennedy, and each of them, that the one-fourth part of the purchase money	How appro- priated.
arising from any sale of said land, or any part there-
of, by the trustees of the Presbyterian Church in
Hagerstown, shall be appropriated to the use of and
to the keeping in order perpetually the cemetery or
grave-yard now on said land, and the said one-fourth
part of the purchase money shall be held by the pur-
chaser or purchasers, or such person or body cor-
porate as he or they may by deed appoint in trust
for said purpose, the principal to be invested safely,
and the interest only to be used.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of	In force
Maryland, That this act shall take effect from its
passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the Port Deposit Detec-
tive Association.
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That J. H. Rowland, F. S. Everest, J.
R. Miller, William M. Loag, John Keaveny, K.
Katz, Benjamin Gifford, and all and every person or persons with them, or in their stead, shall hereafter
become associated with them, their successors and
assigns, shall be and are hereby created and de- clared to be a body corporate and politic, by the	Body corpo- rate

sociation, and by that name shall and may have
perpetual succession and be capable in law of pur-
chasing, holding, improving and disposing of such property, real, personal and mixed, as may be neces-
