or the acceptance of any such deed, shall be and be

chaser or purchasers, or such person or body cor-

porate as he or they may by deed appoint in trust

for said purpose, the principal to be invested safely,

AN ACT to incorporate the Port Deposit Detec-

tive Association.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That J. H. Rowland, F. S. Everest, J.
|
 
|
R. Miller, William M. Loag, John Keaveny, K.
|
 
|
Katz, Benjamin Gifford, and all and every person or
persons with them, or in their stead, shall hereafter
|
 
|
become associated with them, their successors and
|
 
|
assigns, shall be and are hereby created and de-
clared to be a body corporate and politic, by the
|

name and style of the Port Deposit Detective As-

|
sociation, and by that name shall and may have
|
 
|
perpetual succession and be capable in law of pur-
|
 
|
chasing, holding, improving and disposing of such
property, real, personal and mixed, as may be neces-

sary for the purposes herein authorized ; and may sue
