and when any judgment or mortgage shall be entered
or executed as aforesaid, it shall be entered or exe-

cuted in the corporate name of said Board of Com-
|
 
|
missioners, and the Treasurer of the County shall
|
 
|
make the necessary affidavit in case of an invest-
|
 
|
ment on mortgage; the investments in each case
|
 
|
either to remain at interest, or the interest to be col-
|
 
|
lected and reinvested as the commissioners may find
|
 
|
expedient.

SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That this act shall take

CHAPTER 371.
AN ACT to amend the act passed at this present
session of the General Assembly of Maryland, en-
titled "An act to repeal the act of January ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and seventy-six, chapter
one hundred and seventy-three, entitled 'An act
regulating the working and proper ventilation of
coal mines in Allegany and Garrett counties, and
providing for the appointment of an inspector of
said mines,'" and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments, by adding an additional section thereto, to
be numbered section fifteen and a-half.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the act passed at this present
session of the General Assembly of Maryland, en-
titled " An act to repeal the act of January session,
