stones, and have them securely planted at such

points as they may deem necessary ; and they are

hereby authorized to incur any expense necessary

for the proper work on the road, or the duties of

their office, not exceeding the amount levied for their

respective districts; provided, however, that no ac-

count shall be paid unless endorsed by the chairman

and one other member of the board of District Com-

missioners, and approved by the County Commis-
|
 
|
sioners.

SEC. 19. And be it enacted, That the building and
|
 
|
repairs of all bridges in Baltimore county shall be
|
 
|
under the control of the County Commissioners, and
|
 
|
whenever twenty or more taxable inhabitants of said
|
 
|
county shall desire the building or repairs of any
|
 
|
bridge, they may make application to the said com-
