according to specifications furnished by the Road

Commissioners, and the contract shall be awarded
|
 
|
to the lowest responsible bidder, who shall give bond
|
 
|
to the County Commissioners in double the amount

of the contract price for the faithful performance of
|
 
|
the contract ; and the County Commissioners shall
|
 
|
not pay in full for making such road until the Road
|
 
|

located shall have approved the work done and re-
|

ported such approval in writing to the County Com-
|
 
|
missioners.

|
SEC. 18. And be it enacted, Whenever any person
|
 
|
or persons shall desire to improve any road to an ex-
|

tent beyond that contemplated by the board of Road

Commissioners of the district where located, they

may make application to the County Commissioners
|
 
|
by petition, setting forth the location of the road to
|
 
|
be improved, the extent and character of improve-
|
 
|
ment, and probable cost thereof, and the said com-
|
 
|
missioners shall thereupon order the Road Commis-
|
 
|
sioners of the district or districts to meet upon the
|
 
|
premises and examine the location and purposes set
