SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 335.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay

the claim of Horace Resley, late clerk of the

Circuit Court for Allegany county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treas-

ury be and he is hereby requested and directed

to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer to pay to

Horace Resley, late clerk of the Circuit Court for

To pay bill of
costs, &c.

Allegany county, the sum of seventy-nine dollars
and ninety-eight cents, for bill of costs comprising

clerk fees, record of court, &c., furnished for the

use of the State at the request of the Hon. A. K.

Syester, as shown by his certificate, late Attorney

General of the State of Maryland, in the suit of

the State against the Cumberland and Pennsylva-

nia Railroad Company, judgment in said suit being

against the State.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act

shall take effect from the date of its passage.
