CHAPTER 303.

 

AN ACT to repeal section thirty-six of article fif-

 

teen of the Code of Public Local Laws, title

 

" Montgomery county," sub-title " Jurors," as the

 

same was repealed and re-enacted by the acts of

 

1876, chapter 187.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, That section thirty-six of article fif-

 

teen of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Mont-
gomery county," sub-title " Jurors," as the same was

repealed and re-enacted by the acts of eighteen hun-

 

dred and seventy-six, chapter one hundred and

 

eighty-seven, be and the same is hereby repealed

 

and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

 

SEC. 36. The County Commissioners of Montgom-

 

ery county shall annually levy such sum of money

 

as they may deem sufficient to pay the expenses

which may be incurred the then succeeding year by
the attendance of jurors, State's witnesses, criers and

bailiffs at the Circuit Court, and shall apportion and

 

place the same in the hands of the collectors of the

 

several election districts in which it is to be collected,

 

for collection, and the amounts, when collected, shall

 

be paid over to the collector of the fourth election

 

district, to be by him -disbursed as hereinafter pro-

 

vided, and any of said collectors failing to pay over
